safety@labyrinth.chat reaches the Labyrinth safety team. Someone reads it every day.

If anyone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first (911 in the United States).

What to write to us about

Put one of these in the subject, so your message reaches the right person:

• Child safety. A concern about the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child in Labyrinth. This address is our designated child safety contact. Describe what you saw and where; never send the images. Please also report to the CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.
• TAKE IT DOWN request. An intimate image of you shared without your consent, when you cannot use the app. Reports and appeals lists the four things a request needs.
• Case. A question about a case you escalated, or one about your community. Include the case number the app shows. We will never ask for your recovery phrase or any key.
• Law enforcement. A request from a police force or a court. Send legal process to this address.

To report content in a community, use the app: that is the fastest route, and it reaches the community’s own moderators first. How a report moves from there is on Reports and appeals.

What we can and cannot do

Labyrinth communities run on their members’ own devices, and we cannot read them. We can pass a report or a request to a community’s admins, and we can suspend a community from the Labyrinth apps distributed through the App Store, Google Play and the Mac App Store. We cannot delete a message or an image, and we cannot see who is in a community. The Community Policy explains why.
